Hi Palmer,
Was just thinking about you this morning and checking the website for new info, as I do each day. Matthew tripped on the diving board last night and we ended up in the ER with stitches around his eye. It made him think of you to be in the hospital and he asked about you. Just the little 2 1/2 hour visit there made us really marvel at what it must be like for you and your family. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Bless you today....Love, Mrs. Hoelzeman

I just wanted to say that I admire your faith and endurance throughout this trial in your life. It is an encouragement to me as I face my own day-to-day trials(which now seem to be very unimportant). I also wanted to say that I applaud your mom and dad for all they are doing at a time that I know is very painful for them. I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless You, Palmer! Thanks for sharing your story, Tabitha -- As I was typing this, I thought of this passage, and thought that I would share it with you. It is found in 1 Corinthians 9, verses 24 through 27. Always remember that your crown will lastforever. "Do you not know that in a race, all the runners run, but only one gets a prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get crowns that will last forever. Therefore, I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize."
