Good morning Palmer!
Sorry to hear that your stay has been extended. Sounds like you are making the best of it. Glad you've had so many people coming by to encourage you. I will be in Little Rock next Friday, I hope you're home by then, but if not I would love to stop by for a short visit. I hope you have a great day! Know that my family keeps you close to our hearts and in prayerful thought at all times.
Love,
Kate and family

Yesterday I was taking a shower, and as I got out I got water on the floor. I bent over to wipe up the water , and when I stood back up a mirror collapsed on my leg. The mirror split open my ankle. My mom heard the fall, so she rushed up stairs and saw what happened. I already had wrapped a towel around my ankle, but my cut a rag in pieces and tied them on my leg. My mom rushed me to the hospital where they my leg up better, and where I waited 2 and 1/2 hours. They took me to a room where they would sew me up. I waited there for a few minutes and, then they started to clean the cut. Then they gave me nambing shots in about ten different place around my ankle. Those didn't start any water works though. As I was having the stitches put in I was pretty scared because 1 I lost a lot of blood so that may mean that i cut an artery. 2 because it may effect my swimming(luckily it was the day after the Fort Smith Recordsetter) Then, what really made me cry was I thought how scared you must be having to be in a hospital for months now, and not just an ankle. You have to worry about a lot worse things that I don't feel like mentioning.I prayed for you while I was being sewed up with large needles. I also realized more and more through the operation that god is completely sovereign and in control of all of us. You may be in that hospital because god wanted others to become even more christ like and not forget that he is in control. I really hope you get better

Hi Palmer,

I'm a friend of the Daws (Bob, Becky & Breanne) and they thought I should write and introduce myself. I have a lot of friends I have met through volunteering at CARTI and sometimes I visit them when they are at ACH - bring lunch, play games, read, sit and just visit. I hope your counts improve this week!

Hi Sweet Palmer,
Ashli and I enjoyed seeing you Monday. It made us feel better seeing you so cute and perky. It amazes us how you can be that way. We know that God's hand is on you. That phrase comes from Psalm 139. Have you read it lately? It is so beautiful. I'm trying to memorize it. It will take my slow brain awhile. See you soon! Grace and peace...Jana
